Money Manager Ex is supposed to notify you of soon to resolve recurring transactions, although I could not find a way to set up these notifications. Accounts are organized in different categories and are accessible via the left hand panel, which also contains other elements, like an asset inventory and setting up recurring transactions. You may create accounts with different nomenclature like Checkcing, Credit, or Investment, although all work the same way, the only difference being the category in which they are initially put. A database can work with multiple currencies and make the necessary conversions based on online data. Money Manager Ex or MMEX can manage several dedicated databases, each containing accounts and transactions. That's why with Money Manager Ex you can also enjoy a desktop environment and even share the data with your phone app, and the guys in the cloud. However, having this ability only on a mobile platform might feel a bit uncomfortable. Tracking your income and expenditures in a software program has more benefits than storing receipts and salary leaflets till the end of the month.
